CicloSchools is an ambitious European project addressing the growing need for Education for Sustainability (EfS) by bringing Circular Economy (CE) concepts into schools — an area that is gaining momentum but is still not fully integrated into school curricula.
By equipping educators and students with practical knowledge, tools, and methodologies around circularity, CicloSchools helps prepare younger generations to think critically about resources, consumption, and sustainable futures.
This mission strongly aligns with other European initiatives advancing sustainability education, such as SustainEd – A Joint Business and Higher Education Initiative for a Greener Future. SustainEd connects universities and businesses to strengthen sustainability education in higher education through innovative approaches like living labs and WebQuests, empowering students to actively contribute to the green transition.
